It came with PC100 probably, PC66 is too slow. The bus speed is 100MHz.
PC133 will work.

<<Can I use any generic PC100 or PC133 ram? Or is there any faster ram
that works? Can I use 1GB sticks in either?>>

I believe most PC100 and 133 will work. Otherworldcomputing sells 256MB
PC133 sticks for about $27 each, and 512MB PC133 for about $82 each (not
exactly
sure on the 512MB though). I dont believe 1GB DIMMs will work, as we have
recently discussed this matter.

<<In the Sawtooth, how much ram can OSX "see"?>>

2GB, 4x512MB

<<I have heard mention CL2, CL2.5 and CL3 also, what is it and does it
matter to the Mac? Most of my ram is CL2, but I have 1 or 2 CL3's. I
have had them in each machine with no known issues.>>

I have no idea what it means, or if it matters. I dont believe it does
matter, but not sure.
