I agree that I haven't had any problems before this.
As for my RAM, I haven't upgraded yet, so just the stock 512.
I don't like to leave my computer on 24/7 because I am part of the "Restart Crowd" that believes computers are best if turned off and on periodically. Just the way I am, for no really good/valid reason.
I notice that my [EMAIL PROTECTED] seems to mark off the seconds faster than they should. So my computer reports that it takes about 3 hours for a work unit, but I think it's closer to 2 - 2 1/2.
Thanks for all the advice, I will look at my logs next time, since I am still pretty new to X, and didn't know they were text files.

Why don't you leave your computer run 24/7?
