Yeah I enjoyed Descent, Wolfenstein and Dark Forces very much. When I was a trainee at that time we even played Descent together on a network, that was stunning!
What games can you recommend?
Nowadays games such as Call of Duty, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Battlefield 1942 are the most popular games. They're all situated in the WWII period, and I don't find them offensive at all.
Don't know if Grim Fandango was ever released for the Mac BTW.
