First, many thanks to those of you who have been helping me with
broadcasting aspirations. Just to let you all know I have registered
Nicecast and will be switching operations over the B&W sometime within
the next hour or so. Once I do this, anyone listening to the stream
will no longer hear it as I have to switch the port so that my firewall
will allow people to access it on a different computer. So basically
when/if this happens, just change the 8000 in the url to 8001 and then
you will be able to listen to the music once again. Sorry for this
inconvenience, but it is necessary in order to switch over the Mac.
BTW, the stream will change to 32 kbps stereo so those on dialup will
be able to listen more smoothly. This was not possible with Shoutcast
as it would only go as low as 40 kbps stereo. Once again, anyone else
who would like to listen in, just drop me a note off-list and I will
provide you with the complete url.
