What I'd like to add is not a 2nd optical, but rather one of those multi-card reader/USB/firewire thingies. Typically they are designed to mount in a PC floppy bay. How hard would it be to get one of those to fit in zip bay of a PowerMac G4 Digital Audio? Has anyone here done this?

Here is an example of one (albeit this one doesn't have a firewire port):

Aside from mounting it, all these thigies seem to be based on some funky windows motherboard USB connections. I can only presume that Macs don't use this. I have seen elsewhere, though, an adapter cable that turns these funky motherboard connectors into normal USB connectors, though I can't recall where I saw it. Would have to search for it again. Since my USB 2 card has an internal port, could just use one of those adapter cables and plug into that internal port. Anyway, that part I have effectively licked, but mounting it I'm not sure about.

Steve
