I own one of these. It is now in my Sawtooth Dual 450, it used to be in my B&W w/ G4/450. Plug it in, it just works. No problems. Anything connected to it looks like a SCSI drive to the system. Boots fine, beats the pants of the built-in IDE on either machine. If you found one at a price you like, buy it. I got mine from NewEgg (I have no connection to Acard or NewEgg).
Oh yeah - one thing with any of theses cards, be sure you use IDE cables rated for 133 speed. I like the "round" cables myself, airflow inside the system is better using these.
