Still considering whether or not to add a mini to my shopping list at Apple, I just had a thought, can the mini, or rather the optical drive work even if the mini is on its side, more specifically hung on the wall ?
Some sent a link to the list about how to and not to place the mine, i.e. not to stack them, but did it say anything about the mounting angle?
Alternatively do the LC case conversion and use the mini case as the world's coolest wall light...

You'll find: "You can place your Mac mini on its side and use it if you like. Just be sure not to rest the computer on its front or back side or you'll block access to the slot-loading optical drive in front or port connectors in back."
