Is it worth while doing video editing and burning DVD's on a Mac G3? I
heard Mac's were used in some of the Star Wars movies.

I used one for two years for this and it did a decent job. I would recommend that it have at least a Radeon 7000, a 450 MHz or faster processor, and maxed ram.

Large external firewire drives make editing and rendering a lot easier.
