I had some success using Carbon Copy Cloner, XPF (warning: I needed an OS 9 partition (2nd partition) to "prepare" the PMac 9500 ROM to re-boot into Open Firmware (v. 1.05) in order to be able to type "boot" to continue booting).
Plus, I used XPF to "re-do" or mimic a full install, i.e. the OSX installer sees the incomplete OSX drive, and attempts to "upgrade" the system. My setup: 9500 with Newertech G3, two internal SCSI drives: one with OS 9 on both partitions, the other with 10.1.4 only; Adaptec 2930 Powerdomain with UltraSCSI Seagate 23 Gig drive (68 pin). Started with 10.1.4 cloned, but only able to upgrade to basic Jaguar - the 10.2.8 combo won't work (bad download?). George --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Hello.
