Hey Y'all,
Someone must have tried this: Is it possible and practical to use OS 8.6 on a G3 as the Classic environment for OS X to boot to? At least Jaguar? And is it stable that way? And if so - how??
I know it's a lot more stable than 9.2.2 running any classic apps I've tried from a volume-boot session.
OS X Server v1.2 uses 8.6 as the Classic environment, but Panther requires 9.2.2. I believe Jaguar requires at least 9.2.0, but it might require 9.2.1.
