I *think* "journalled" is a term used in OS X formatting that means the same thing as HFS+. The two terms can be used interchangeably. Can anyone else verify this?
Journalled is not the same as HFS+, it's something on top of HFS+.

Very simply put, journalling is a way of recording changes made to a disk so that in the event of a system crash the disk can be restored to a known good state.
HFS+ is a disk formatting standard, like HFS, UFS, FAT32 or NTFS. (Trivia: one of the features of NTFS file systems is that they have journalling built-in. Sun has also employed journaled file systems for a long time, iirc.)

Bruce, good thing you didn't get kicked off the list for "laughing" at Larry's misfortunes. We need you here for stuff like this.
(I know it's safe to make such a comment since it's all good now... no misunderstandings, Macs resurrected by CUDA, etc.).
