When the 128 came out I wanted one SO badly, but just couldn't afford one...

So a couple of years ago I sent my partner to the dump to get rid of this gigantic old Sun Workstation monitor he'd picked up at auction (we could never get it to work) because I was tired of tripping over it.

He got back and told me that someone had thrown away a Commodore 128, but that he didn't bring it back because he thought I'd complain about more old computers. I sent him back for it.

Can you believe the thing still worked! It even had a double sided floppy drive and the 80 column color monitor!

I wish I had room to set it up, because I loved the ability to write simple programs in Commodore Basic (heck, I even taught myself to program in 6502 machine code), but we just don't have the room. It's up in the attic for now keeping my 128C and Vic20 company (they never hit it off with the IBM AT or the Apple +).
