bringing VHS into Macs

Comp USA presently has a Zio Cameramate Real Time Video (adapter) on 
sale. It is PC only--at least the software is. I am aware of ADS USB 
Instant DVD for Mac available at
http://www.usb-ware.com/ads-usb-instant-dvd-for-mac.htm

Is it possible to use the Zio Cameramate hardware on a Mac?
Any user comments on the ADS USB Instant DVD for Mac?
What are others using to bring VHS into Macs and convert to digital for 
DVD archiving?
