I installed a fastmac G4-500 in my B&W rev 2. If i overclock it to 550 MHz the machine will freeze once to twice a week. I typically leave it up for weeks at a time.

Just wondering if you had better luck overclocking your fastmac upgrade.

I have a "tall" rev 2 heatsink and a 486 cpu fan. Still I get hangs and kernel panics if I over clock. Once a week is not that big of deal but for 50 MHz I prefer the stability. I sold my g3-400 on E-Bay to re-cover some of my costs. I did this about a year ago....
