I need a recommendation of an all in one printer that is compatible with both OSX and OS 9. Any thoughts?
At home , I use an HP PSC 1210 . It is the Flatbed style All-In-One. It like most of the other HP AIOs works both sides of the Mac fence. Even works for the Dark side.
In my office, I use the HP Officejet 4100 AIO . I chose it for the added Fax capability. I wouldn't swear to the OS9 ability, because I do not use OS9 at the office. Well, for that matter at home either anymore.
I refill the cartridges in both to save on ink costs. I refill when the ink gauges get down to about the 10% left stage. I like the high quality inks and use them to print a lot of photos. I have refilled my own ink for 8 or 9 years and have never had a problem. I use the savings to get the higher quality ink.
