I must be nearing 150 Apples and Macs that have passed through my home, anything from brand new to old and useful, but mainly used Macs with problems, and I've fixed a few...
I have now decided to have one (yes, 1 Mac!!) to house all my data, software, music and films, so I kinda figured that this Mercury would do the job.
5x 120GB + 40GB + 30GB (internal + colostomy Mac Plus *) and 200GB (Maxtor) and 250GB (LaCie d2) should do the job.
1120GB, just a tad more than 1TB in/on one Mac. :o)
Oh, and I'm aiming to keep this Mac (yeah right as exclaimed by my wife at that comment), but I will, it's fast enough without being too fast to waste capital value, I paid $200 for the QS 733MHz.
* = The four 120GB drives won't fit inside the Mercury, well physically they will, but not heat/PSU wise so I'm sticking them inside a Mac Plus case (one of my 20+ case in the workshop, from Mac 128K to Classics, SE and SE30...)
