In the 13 years of owning macs, the only instances that I have come across where the clock acts up related to a weak or dead battery. Change the battery with a brand new one, set the time to the correct settings and go from there. I heard about Firefox on this list and downloaded it. Haven't had any trouble so far, but still prefer Safari. Kevin Well, I have another clue, the fact that I was able to keep the clock setting I set last night before I turned it off makes me think the battery is good. I'll try removing the battery overall and booting the computer that way, has anyone worked their mac with no battery? anything I should know before withdrawing the battery? Thanks!
