I always format my main internal drive to Journaled, but what about external Firewire drives ?
Are there any benefits ?
I have just started putting loads of files on my LaCie d2 250GB drive and checked afterwards and see that it's formatted to normal Mac HFS format, any disadvantages ?
The files ? Mainly films at around 700MB each...
