---If enough people complain, Apple will fix the problem - look at what they did for Beige owners who tried to use OS X and couldn't.
Wasn't that related to some looming court case, or was that to do with G3 PowerBooks ?!...
Wasn't there a court case involving Beige G3s using on-board video not being able to use DVDPlayer? I seem to remember a class-action case that ended in Apple giving credits to class action plaintiffs credit towards purchases at the Apple Store.
