Hi Amanda Well I tried *3* times and nothing worked. I only have OS 9. I never get anything telling me anything about a firmware patch, supposedly there is a dialog box. I got the bong noise from hitting the programmer's switch tho and of course was pushing the power button on the front of the G3 while doing that. No firmware dialog box tho - that has me worried. I'm on the B&W now but things are reeaaaaaaly slow, especially after having the 800 mhz upgrade card in the minitower. Maybe THIS weekend I'll give it a go, got a few nice tips privately from concerned g-listers (thank you!!!). My butt still hurts from sitting on it on the floor 12 hours almost straight! Jeeeeeeez! Hey Gene, still got that upgrade card for sale? Let me know privately! Deb in Rhode Island -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
