The Adaptec USBXchange sells for a similar price. I've never used a SCSI to USB adapter, but I did try a SCSI to FIreWire (not from Adaptec). I could never get it to work with my scanner.

OK now another question for you B&W owners out there....
I have a scsi scanner and don't want to get a new scanner even though they
are relatively cheap. It's a Umax S6E and works GREAT with the software in
9.2.2. Been researching scsi-usb adapters and found this:
Adaptec USBXchange
I really don't want to add another PCI card, running out of slots...
Anyone have any experience with it? Or any experience at ALL at hooking up a
scsi scanner somehow to a Blue & White Rev 1? Want to spend the LEAST amount
and I know adaptec is nice to us Mac people (at least in the past). Thanks
for any help!
