Folks,
On a G3 Beige, considering the 66 MHz bus speed,
will using a Fast-ATA PCI interface card and HD really
help the speed? And if not, what is the most
effective thing you can do to it once the memory's
maxed?
And on the subject of Beige - I know about the Rave
chip relation to ROM revision, but how exactly do you
read the ROM stick itself to determine if it's A, B, C
or XYZ? I was recently sold one as a C but on the
board part it sez:
  Apple Computer Inc. 820-0954-A 1997

Should I be reading somewhere else? Is there a link
that shows this stuff?
  Thanks!
Jim
