Mozilla is what I recommend if you want to use PayPal. Ideally the 1.3.1 WaMCom copy, since it does have some minor bug fixes over 1.2.1...
Lately, with eBay, I've thought it was a browser issue, but found if I signed off, then signed back on, the pages that weren't working started working. The joys of still using dialup. The only flash stuff on eBay, other than for the eBay CarAd stuff, is for some of the banner ads. So, I haven't had flash activated on my PowerMac (Sys 9.2.2/9600 with G3 upgrade)...
