Oh you can get the software from Adaptec here: http://adaptec.com/worldwide/support/ drivers_by_product.jsp?sess=no&language=English+US&cat=%2FProduct %2FAPD-2930U&prodkey=APD-2930U You have IDE, and depending upon your revision number you may have scsi too. Somewhere on the lowendmac.com site there is a picture of where you can find which revision you have, do a search for B&W revision and you'll find it.
