I have one of these UltraTek cards running 2 40gig hard drives under OS 10.3 in my B&W G3. It runs like a dream. So my advice to you is to ditch that beige!! Let it go man, it's had a good run. B&W G3's run so much smoother. I should know, I've just moved up from using two beige g3's myself and I am so pleased with the improvement.

I had to wait a few days to respond to this. Now I can officially say all my Beige G3 upgrading is DONE and everything WORKS great! All drives and controllers and G4 466 processor. It was a real pain getting to this point but now this machine, for my needs really performs. OS X 10.2.8 performance is good. OS 9.2 on a SCSI Cheetah LVD and Adaptec 29160 controller absolutely ROCKS with the G4.
I could have "let it go" at many points of frustration but it is even sweeter that I have prevailed in my endeavor.
It was a new-to-me mint condition original Rev 1 A ROM 266 machine. So NOW it's time to start a good run.
