I don't know the answer, I've always heard the ME was superior to the 7000 for PCI cards.

I've seen many photos of ME cards and every photo I ever saw the ME was a dual headed card also. Perhaps this is the problem?

I believe this is a Radeon Mac Edition (I was able to use my Radeon 7000's hardware zoom to read the "Mac Edition" under the ATI Radeon logo, and it's obvious this isn't a 7000 because of the fan, etc.)

Perhaps your card isn't a Radeon Mac Edition? The only single-headed Mac PCI cards I've heard of are flashed PC Radeon 7000's. You might check System Profiler for the model #'s and check them.
