Find the Identities folder in the Outlook folder, trash Rules, Schedules,
and Preferences. The program will probably then be fine, but if not you can
download a clean copy from Microsoft -- be sure to save the Mail, Database,
and Addresses files from the crashed version first.

While you're at it, make a backup copy of Mail, Database, and Addresses.
