Interesting site. I just tried it. I also could not
import a downloaded wav file from the site into iTunes
successfully. Going to File | Import showed the file
grayed out.

As an experiment I opened the wav in QT Pro and
exported it out as another wav file (added one
character to the file name). Using File | Import on
the new file and it also showed it grayed out.

However, I dragged and dropped the exported file to
the iTunes icon in the Dock and it put it in the
library. I tried the same thing with the original and
it did not import it.

I suspect they have some sort of AAC type protection
on the file to prevent it's importation. I'm not sure
if the free version of QT has the same export feature.
