Spend the extra, you won't regret it. My G4 iBook crawled with the stock 60Gb 4200rpm drive. I've since dropped a 7200rpm drive with an 8Mb cache in (an incredibly difficult task, it's such a pain to open the thing up), and the performance difference is absolutely phenomenal.
