Just purchased an Tempo ATA133 card and now I am wondering what I should hook my boot hard drive to. Should I leave in connected to the MoBo or Should it be hooked to the new card. Does the card increase the speed of HD's, CD and DVD recorders?

I am running a G4 AGP Sawtooth Dual 500 with 576 mb ram. I know my system disk is 7200 rpm

Definitely boot off the ATA-133 card, it is noticeably faster than the on-board interface. Leave your optical drive(s) on the mobo.
