Did you know that the 10.3 Install CDs can't boot a Dual 2.5 ghz G5?  I can 
only boot from the original CD or DVD that shipped with the computer.  I assume 
that Tiger will be able to boot it, but the 10.3 disc gives me a weird slice 
off the apple, and the thing won't start up.

So the point of this is I'd try a 10.3 CD to see if that will start up your 
computer.

Of course, I don't really know what I'm talking about when it comes to later 
model G4s.
