but it also has a "D" style (Cintronics I think) multi pin connector with "paper clip" like locking fasteners (similar to but smaller than SCSI") I have no idea how to use that socket but it might offer some options.
This is the PC Parallel port.
My Emac would aparently prefer USB or Ethernet, and not the serial cable that my 9600 liked. Can my printer be smartened up with a gagget of some sort, or can the Emac be coaxed somehow?
You can use either a USB-to-serial adapter, such as Keyspan, or a USB-to-parallel adapter, such as PowerPrint, for connection between the Epson printer and your eMac.
