I am using QuickTime Pro 6.5.2
What can I use to run these movies.
Try the VideoLan player at http://videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html It works on many avi files that quicktime won't play.
If it doesn't play with vlc (or mplayer) it is probably an mpv3 file, which I have not found anything that will play it except for MS Windows Media Player 9.x for Mac.
