Thanks for the info, Dell wasn't one of the brands I checked.  As for other 
brands, I find that with the small dot-pitch it is really hard to notice them 
in casual use, unless you actively search for them.  Of course, I didn't set 
out to find the pixel on my Viewsonic, noticed it during Diablo II game play 
(stuck white pixel).  I think the stuck whites are harder to notice overall.
