and doesn't normally come with a PCMCIA cage.  I've seen such things
for PCs but I've not seen one advertised for Mac and don't know if
it would work with it.

I could understand houw the flashcard would work with a fUSB flash
reader, but must I abandon use of my PCMCIA HD?
