Hello All, Any multi-platform network wizards out there ? I have an unusual problem. My home network consists of 3 Mac's (An upgraded 933 DA, and two 450 B&W's for my daughters). All are networked (hard wire ethernet) to to shared printers in my home office and work wonderfully. I use a T41 Thinkpad at work, and I set up a VPN for printing from my work laptop at home, to my office, but I occasionally find the need to print at home from my PC laptop. I also just purchased a new Compaq AMD laptop for my daughter as a High School graduation present (She wanted a Ti Powerbook, but it was not in the budget). Both PC's connect wirelessly over a Netgear Wireless Acess Point/Router.
All of the appropriate OS X features are enabled and I can "see" the printers. When you select the printer, and attempt to print an item, it spools, shows the "printing" command and then dissapears. The printers are connected on the PC through a "Samba" virtual port. Any ideas anyone ? Wade A. Perry -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
