Ro, I'll go with Jim on this one. I'm installing one on a similar
machine and it definitely needs a adapter card/holder for the airport
card. Do a search for the article on how to install this. There is a
PDF somewhere specifically on this - sorry, Spotlight couldn't find it!
In NZ, they have now become 'Service Parts" which means they are not
held in stock and have to be ordered specially (which means they now
cost 4 times the price!) In NZ, they used to include this adaptor
card with every airport card and guess who threw a couple out! (or
at least put them away so carefully, I can't find them!). I didn't
know what I was going to do to help out a friend who had a snow 600
and had bought an airport card, until a techy friend working in a
school gave me 4! If you can't find one locally at a cheap price,
give me a yell off the list and I'll send it over. Amanda on the G-
list is helping me with a modem for a G3 so what goes around...
