Im using a 39160 in a rev 1 Sawtooth (yours is a rev 2 since it supports dual processors) with a fujitsu harddrive. It works properly in OS 10.3.5 as a SE device, which maxes out at 40MB/s. If you ever benchmark your drive(s) please do share the results.
