Hi Chuck

A problem I have had with Macdraw II since I began using key commands...

I have the default font/style set to 3-point plain text. However (and it took a while for me to figure out what was going on) the style setting is not working properly.

I use the app mainly for labels I can print complete with the separating lines. I found one day that every new label text would begin in italics... never mind that italics were not selected in "style"... and I could NOT get rid of this. Every time I started a new block of text (label) I would have to select it and manually change it back to plain.

Well, somehow I eventually got rid of the italics, and discovered that the problem started when I began to use key-commands to change the style of some characters... so I'd go "command-i" a few times and there we would go, default italics!

Now I am using underline/bold for parts of my labels, and due to using key-commands I am stuck with underline/bold as default... and can't remember how I got rid of the italics! The stupid app shouldn't be doing this. I have looked to trash the MD Prefs, but there ARE none. I would use MD Pro... except that it screws up the page breaks... it refuses to align the breaks for an A4 page, so cuts off either the bottom row or last column of labels (5 columns x 10 rows of labels). Catch-22...

Any ideas?

Andrew
