Per Erik -
If you can't get them shipped from Hardcoremac,
check out ebay.com. Lots of vendors selling at
auction and many of them ship internationally (their
listings will say this). I've bought a lot of Mac
stuff (too much) from there, including hard drive
trays. I think this tray is used on both the G3 B&W
and the G4 towers, so you might search for "G3 tray"
as well as "G4 tray" and see what you find. Look for
vendors who have a customer feedback satisfaction rate
of 99% to 100% and they should be okay to do business
with. The double tray fits in the same place as the
flat one and may be worth getting if you put in
several drives.
While you're there, consider buying a more capable
ATA controller on a PCI card, so you can use the
missing 32 GB part of your 160 that you can't use now.
If you start adding drives (sounds like you plan to
fill it up), you will need one soon anyway.
Let's see, 3 double trays on the floor holding 6
drives of 160 GB each would give 960 GB hard disk
space (if you don't go larger on each), plus another
DVD... whatever you're doing on this thing must be
truly interesting! I hope you've maxed out the RAM!
Jim
