Does somebody have a URL or a simple explanation of what the difference between a "proper" 64-bit CPU (G5 I presume) and chips like the P4/Xeon with "64-bit extensions" is. Is there a difference? Are the latters' internals still 32-bit to some extent and they're just addressing 64-bit memory space? Is the Itanium still Intel's only truly 64-bit CPU?
