G'day everyone.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've sent the drive back with a
covering note to tell them a 1 Gig drive should transfer in just a
few minutes at usb2 rates, so hopefully they'll replace it with
something close to what they advertised.
Just so you know, my tests were on the front port of a G5, and on a
usb2 hub.
