I read about 21 months ago that Apple settled a class action suit to reimburse Beige G3 owners that had bought OSX because OSX didn't fully support the Beige. The discs would be returned to Apple and they would send out a check for $129 or whatever the cost was back then. The article said Apple would post a link on their website.
