Hi there
It doesn't see the SSID no, not even if i enter it manually in for the
mac to search for.
Can't give you the model right now, but i will get it. The Asus is
almost a plug and play device. Connect it up, set the ip on it, which
band to use B/G. It's set for B only right now, i think.
Very minimal setup, most of the important settings for setting up the
SSID was through windows XP.

see the SSID, full stop, you have to enter in the SSID every time he
starts it up, you have to do the chicken dance every time you want it to
work... :-)
And what model is the Asus and what did you do to set it up, besides
plugging it into the LAN and applying power? Was there any kind of
setup
to do?
