newer UPS systems designed for this purpose, but my APC UPS is but a
couple of years old and I just bought a brand new battery for it! Call

A keyboard will have all the signals you need. Just wire into the power
and enter keys, add a couple of relays, and there you are!

Oh, it's definately 1:30 in the morning... I read the above, and my brain spun out of control. I'm picturing a rube goldberg aparatis... Power dips, light dims, flower wilts, drooping pedal hits domino, dominos fall and fall and fall, eventually a garden gnome is pummeled by them. It tips, dropping its nose into the power key. It's hat hits a big rubber hand, which drops a finger on the enter key...

Time for bed. Definately. Even the cat is yawning.

g'night.
