Sigh.
Get a bigger hard drive, more memory, OS X 10.2, and start from
there. Your complaint sounds like someone dumping their lemon of a
2000 Ford, and picking up a heavily modified 1983 K-Car, "for a
better experience" .
Better yet, someone tired of messing with the OS 9 issues you have
now, and deciding that moving to Windows 3.11 will solve them.
Not gonna happen unless you move to the more modern OS.
Sorry to all the OS 9 holdouts on the list, but if you want something
that works with modern stuff, you gotta move forward. There IS too
much manual ka-ka with OS 9. Yes it is faster than OS X on that old
hardware (marginally) but it's like an old MG or Triumph compared to
a Mazda Miata, or a new Mini Cooper. A LOT more manual ka-ka
associated with them.
You do not need XPostFacto to install OS X 10.2 on a Beige, just 10.3
and higher.
