Let me expand a little on my missing drive. It was purchased to be my
second drive, both being hooked up to the ATA controller card. My
first drive still works like a charm, with both Panther and 9.2
installed but the new one will not format to save my life. It shows up
in SysProf and Disc Utility but the buttons are greyed out for Verify
and Repair and when you try to erase or partition it stalls after a
few minutes. Did the drive suddenly go bad? This one has thrown me for
a loop.

Thanks
