I have my mail app open and can already see that there are responses to this post but I just have to chime in. Appleworks 6 runs in OS X.

This has caught my attention, as my G3 is on 9.2.2

help me with an issue on the Macintosh REMOTE ACCESS
/PPP/TCP

I live in an area that can not have DSL, so It is dial up
for us.
Using Remote Access is all that we have. Mostly get 40k
only once got
 50k.

The problem is that you MUST keep an eye on the green and
red, down
and up to see what is going and when.

The way I do this is to have the window just to the right
of the browser, making the browser just 1/4" smaller than
full width and this allows me to just see the green.

I can not see the red.

What is wrong is that the window should have been made the
width of the screen and only 2 lines tall; making the
browser window short is fine as we expect to move down the
window to view the content.
