Update to Eudora 6.1.1.
Try giving it more memory.

Internet Explorer 5.1.7 is the last done, before MS abandoned it on the Mac.
My current fav is WaMCom Mozilla 1.3.1
Try also:
iCab 2.9.8 -- if you're not picky about pages looking odd due to
wonky CSS display.
iCab 3.0 (latest public beta) -- great CSS, but not yet speed optimized.
