I downloaded a rather large .avi file, which doesn't seem to want to play properly. I've tried using media player and quicktime to no avail. Quicktime will open the file, but when I play, all I get is a white screen and only a short blurb of sound for a fraction of a second.
Any help would be appreciated.
Brian

I have had good luck with .avi files and mplayer.
